Run Coach | Physiotherapist

About Bec

Bec is a running coach at Parallel Running with over a decade of racing experience across cross country, road, track and trail running, as well as road cycling and mountain biking. She brings a well-rounded understanding of endurance training, load management, and the demands of balancing training with everyday life. Bec also works as a Physiotherapist with a strong interest in running-related injury management and prevention, strength and conditioning, and women’s health.

Her coaching philosophy is centred around consistency, communication, and sustainable progress. She is particularly passionate about promoting longevity in the sport, especially for junior runners. Her coaching style is supportive, practical, and individualised, with a strong focus on helping athletes build confidence while incorporating training into busy schedules.

Bec enjoys coaching athletes of all abilities — from those completely new to running through to high-performing competitive runners. She is particularly well-suited to supporting athletes with an injury history, recurring niggles, or more complex training and health considerations that may need to be incorporated into their programming.

Her personal bests include 17:22 for 5km and 2:52 in her marathon debut last year.

She loves helping athletes feel confident, capable, and excited about their running.
